Midge Journal--Autumn News, October/November

Monday: Had poached eggs and toast for breakfast. Handed midterm papers back to students in two of my classes. The other two classes are taking their tests this week. A girl's got to have a life too.

Tuesday: Visited my hair dresser this afternoon. It was time for a trim.

Wednesday: The new department secretary brought in brownies this morning.
I thought I'd bust a seam!!! Two brownies before class!!! Discussed Sir Leonard Woolley in Ur excavating for thirteen years.

Thursday: Grading papers today.

Friday: Gave my cat Spooky a bath. Spooky does
not like to be bathed.



Friday night: Went out to a new bar with Barbie and some friends called the
Mango Shack. An Elvis impersonator
Rocked the house!!! My 'little' student
Kelly joined in on ukulele. What a time!
